Laurence Minsky
Recognized for both his strategic and creative skills, Larry’s
broad experience as a Creative Director/Writer includes brand development,
advertising, promotions, direct response, interactive, trade show,
channel communications and new product development.
He is also one
of the pioneers of using sophisticated guerrilla marketing techniques
to motivate end users to buy and the trade to support
branding initiatives. And he has been recognized for his in-store
marketing expertise and his knowledge on how to tailor national
marketing programs to individual store needs.
In addition to his work with Revalour, Larry is a professor in
the Marketing Communication Department in the School of Media Arts
at
Columbia College Chicago.
He is the author of the forthcoming How
to Succeed in Advertising When All You Have Is Talent Second Edition
and the co-author of
25 Words or Less and How to Succeed in Advertising When All You
Have
is Talent. His books have received critical acclaim and he has
been a guest speaker at professional meetings and universities,
quoted
in such leading print media as the New York Times, and interviewed
on television and radio talk shows across the country.
Previously,
Larry worked in creative leadership roles for such top agencies
as Frankel and The Marketing Store Worldwide. Because
of
Larry’s strong creative reputation, he has been often called
in to consult with leading agencies to overcome creative issues.
These include Draft Worldwide, The Food Group, J. Walter Thompson,
Marketing Support, 141 Worldwide, and more than 20 others.
He has
created marketing and communications solutions for many blue chip
clients, including Dean Foods, Connie’s Pizza,
Coca-Cola, General Mills, Nabisco, Tropicana, Dole 100% Juice,
Frito-Lay and
McDonald’s on an international and national level.
An award-winning creative, Larry is frequently called upon to judge
marketing communication awards and is a member of The One Club
for Art and Copy, The Authors Guild, and the American Academy of
Advertising.
He holds a BA in psychology, Magna Cum Laude, from Lawrence University
in Appleton, Wisconsin. |
