Dr. Gene Topper, Ph.D.
With over 25 years of experience, Gene is a recognized leader in
market research and consumer psychology. Having an MBA from Loyola
University, he approaches all his research assignments with business
results acumen and delivers extraordinary insights for Revalour’s
clients.
After graduating near the top of his class from
Northwestern University with a degree in Psychology, Gene cut his
teeth in
the business world
in the research department of D'Arcy (DMB&B),
Campbell-Mithun, and
Ogilvy & Mather. While furthering his career with these leading agencies,
he went on to develop even greater knowledge of human behavior by
earning his PhD in Experimental Psychology from Loyola University.
With 15 years of effectively addressing the challenges
faced by major clients such as Wilson Foods, NutraSweet/Equal,
Corona Extra,
and
Kitty Litter, Dr. Topper entered the field of general market research,
playing a senior level role at such market research leaders as Millward
Brown, Wirthlin Worldwide, and M/A/R/C. At these firms, he dealt
effectively with a myriad of issues faced by a wide variety of consumer,
foodservice and B2B clients that included Quaker Oats, Sweetheart
Cup, AT&T, Cellular One, Allstate, Cole Taylor Bank, Masonite,
Carrier, and Whirlpool.
Gene is recognized as the preeminent marketing
research authority in the Chicago area having been both President
of Chicago’s
American Marketing Association and the Society of Consumer Psychology.
His experience includes all forms of qualitative and quantitative
methods from new product development through communications strategy
development and tracking. Moreover, Gene makes it his business to
stay on the cutting edge of research techniques.
His personal mission
is to bring greater value to Revalour’s
clients, and he serves as an adjunct professor of marketing research
at Cardean University. |
